Birla Nifty Upgrade

Birla Nifty is a Copper plant producing 25,000 tonnes of copper cathode per annum. The plant upgrade consists of the introduction of a new paste plant to the existing facility.

Altus' contribution to the upgrade:

• Model existing and future pumping systems for selection along with the procurement of pumps and pipes.
• Rheology testing of slurry sample to ascertain the behavior of the slurry.
• Provide supporting calculations for various operation proposals.
• Design and draft piperack.
• Process and operation review.
• Provide isometric piping drawings for construction.
• Tank design and fabrication detail design.
• Design and draft cyclone cluster details.
